1st Topic: Fire Insurance
(Overview of General Insurance, The Legal Principles of Insurance, The Written Instruments Rule, Essentials of Fire Insurance : Coverage, Exclusions and Conditions)
by : Mr Sam Wong : Started as an underwriting clerk in 1982. Became a Risk Surveyor followed by Marketing Executive. In 1989, was recruited as the Head of the Fire Department for Jerneh Insurance Corporation. Underwriting Managers for Arab-Malaysian Insurance Institute. Came out in 1996 to form his own insurance consulting firm. Mr Sam’s qualifications includes : Associates in Risk Management, Associate in Claims, Fellow of the Australian Insurance Institute (now ANZIIF), Associate of the Malaysian Insurance Institute (new syllabus) and Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (new syllabus). Sam has recently authored & published a book titled “A Fire INSURANCE TOO FAR?”.

by: Mr Kenneth Tai : Kenneth Tai is a Trainer and Consultant for eCommerce and eMarketing strategies. He was appointed as the Regional Vice President of ICECC (The Institute of Certified E-Commerce Consultants) from USA and also the Academic Board member of ICECC Asia in Singapore. He graduated with MBA from Charles Sturt University, Australia, Degree in Electronics and is a Certified eCommerce Consultant, ICEC from USA. He has trained and consulted 200 over companies from SMI to International companies for the past few years. He also provides training in local Universities & Colleges on E-Commerce & K-Mgmt programs that are getting more popular today in our K-Economy. Mr Kenneth Tai is the Author of the Book entitled “E-Profits : Why Now Is The Best Time For E-Commerce”. He was also featured and interviewed 3 times on NST Computimes, given various talks to organization and to the public. Now he is doing a thesis for his Doctorate program in K-Management.
