Ms Lilian Lim has established FranNet's first presence in Malaysia in 2003, and is a member and regular speaker for the Malaysian Franchise Association and the International Franchise Association. Lilian has been invited to speak to many established and reputable organizations such as TEC Asia, Rotary, Malaysia SME Retailing Conference 2005 ant the XL Results Foundation. She is keen to offer advice and counsel to entrepreneurs and companies who are exploring business opportunities in franchise or franchisee development. After joining FranNet, Lilian was based in the US office and during that period she traveled extensively in the country to meet many franchisors who wanted to expand into Asia. Prior to joining FranNet in Kuala Lumpur, she worked at the Hyatt Regency and the Chateaux Gutsch Hotel in Luzern, Switzerland and acquired skills in marketing, sales and project management. Lilian lived in Germany and Switzerland for five years to study German and Spanish and to complete her BA in Hospitality and Tourism Management at the famous Glion Hotel School. Armed with her international experience, multi-language skills and her dedication to help others succeed in business ownership, she has successfully worked with Malaysian companies and professionals to make informed decisions on franchising opportunities using the proven and effective FranNet system.
The club believes that the topic will be well received by members who are exploring business ownership opportunities in a franchise or franchisee development business.
