Mr Ron Teoh is the Head of the Structured Products and Derivatives Sales desk at
United Overseas Bank (M) Bhd, He and his team have brought Structured Investments
to the fore as a viable investment alternative. In addition, UOBM now offers a
whole range of diverse investment choices ranging in tenor from 1 month to 5
years and linked to all asset classes. Mr Ron also has focused on Finance as
his area of expertise. Academically, he is a graduate of
Monash University Economics and Finance faculty, followed by a post
graduate degree in Finance from RMIT University. In work,
Ron has close to 20 years experience in the financial markets with
experience across the whole value chain from money broking, financial
risk management and Treasury as well as dabbling for a short time in
consulting and financial software development. Specifically in Treasury,
Ron has exposure to all facets of the interbank markets ranging from FX
and Money Markets Income and Derivatives trading.
The club believes that the topic will give more knowledge to members on
Structured Investment. With all the right experience, the speaker is well
suited to share his view on this subject and the future of this class of investments.
